The Secret
To Finding The "One" Paul Janka
Contrary to the image of a societal deviant that journalists have created for me (because I've had sex with just under 200 women, and I teach guys how they can too), I have no problem with long-term relationships. Finding the "One" is a wonderful goal for any man. The problem is that so many men I've known make the mistake of settling for a woman who may not actually be the RIGHT "One". These guys are often tired of playing the game and just want to settle down. They decide to "cut their losses" and end up with a woman who is not necessarily the best match for them. Perhaps because of pressure from others, they jump into this "settling down" mode partly to please society, but also partly to end the struggle rather than putting in further effort. This is a recipe for unhappiness. Then, there are the men who don't know exactly what they want in a woman because they haven't had enough experience. They may marry someone they truly BELIEVE is the "One", but eventually learn the hard way that she's NOT the One. This is a recipe for divorce.
Remember that phrase "play
the field" when you were younger? It's still good
advice because it's the KEY to discovering what you truly
want in a woman. It's not fair to either you or your
future bride to allow either of these situations to play
out...and all because you didn't live a full enough single
life.
Which is why I truly believe
that what I teach is for EVERY man...not just guys who want
to be "pickup artists," whatever that means. Plus,
living a life full of beautiful women is great training for
when you meet a woman who rises above all the
others.
Let's say, for example, that you're in line at the bank.
You see a gorgeous woman. Maybe she's the "One". Are you
prepared? Are you going to talk to her? Are you going to
get her number?
Faced with this situation, guys fall into three behavioral groups. The first group is the largest group. These guys don't do anything at all.
They come up with a million excuses of why they couldn't
possibly talk to this woman... because it's not something
that they ever experience. It's not part of their reality.
They may not even believe it's possible.
The second group will try talking to her...but stumble. A guy who is not out there in the field every day... who hasn't seen every reaction in the book and learned how to handle it...will be awkward and somewhat inept due to inexperience. Chances are he'll blow it. The third group is the smallest group... the seasoned professional like me. This is the guy who sees her in line at the bank and knows EXACTLY what to do... because he's already collected five numbers this week. His "mojo" is strong. He's self-confident. He's unflappable. But he WOULDN'T be if he weren't accustomed to handling this situation. This is the type of reality I want for all my students. Yes, you can use what I teach to become a "player." But you can also use what I teach to BE PREPARED for when that potential "One" crosses your path. Again, I think settling down is great...IF it's the right time for you to do so. But before you do, ask yourself "Have I fully exercised my divine right as a single man? Is there anything else I want to experience?" I was riding the elevator once with an aged man...probably 80 years old. I've always believed in learning as much as you can from your elders, so I decided to ask him a question.
"If you could live your entire life over again", I said,
"what would you do differently?"
"Chase more girls",
he said.
